The benefits of salmon are so great that it's a great fish to add to your weekly menu. Salmon is a great source of Omega-3 fatty acids which is a polyunsaturated fat that is protective for your heart and brain health. Salmon is a good source of protein and selenium. Trying to incorporate salmon often into your weekly routine doesn't have to be "routine". There are so many ways to prepare your salmon and pair it so that it doesn't get boring.
I love spicy food. I've been eating spicy food since elementary school. But I understand not everyone shares my passion. And that's too bad. LOL This bowl craze has been around for awhile now. I can say that bowls are pretty and it's a great way to get all your colors in one little arranged bowl. But isn't it just a bowl just a layered plate? I'm just saying. But they are pretty. So I had to join the bowl craze too. Pretty food makes me happy.
I made this bowl with cauliflower rice as a base, red Swiss chard, and avocado as a an additional healthy fat. But the star of this bowl is the sweet and spicy salmon. Sriracha is an intensely spicy Asian chili sauce and with a couple of ingredients that you already have in your pantry, you can have a quick and easy meal.
